Production Context
Regulatory and labour conditions vary enormously by jurisdiction. We contextualise productions accordingly.
Why context matters
Adult production is regulated differently in every jurisdiction, and those differences shape working conditions, consent documentation and what studios can publish. Velvet Verdict treats jurisdiction as critical context rather than a browsing filter.
What we examine
- Consent documentation — whether a studio publishes a written consent policy with a revocation window.
- Set advocacy — whether a named advocate is present for every shoot and listed in credits.
- Age documentation — whether the producer maintains records; we never request or hold them.
- Complaints channels — whether performers have a route to report concerns.
